ACC Matters - June 2021

An open letter to all the boys and girls.

I dedicate this message to you all as I pledge my allegiance to do everything in my power to help protect, support and guide you. 

Today marks twelve months since I went to central London under my security firm ARK Protection Limited with my associates to help pacify violent behaviour I felt was escalating. Boys and girls, you were at the forefront of my thoughts and actions.

Like everybody else, I had been watching the protests against the horrific killing of George Floyd unfold on television. I could not believe how quickly the movement gathered pace globally.

As the peaceful protest soon turned to violence, extremists’ groups made threats and violent behaviour erupted, I saw the negative effect this had on young boys and girls. The scenes on television left me deeply disturbed and concerned for your safety.

Having grown up in Britain myself, as a father of three boys, and the owner of a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) academy, I felt dutybound to help alleviate this situation. I felt compelled to make every effort to protect you.

When myself and my associates arrived in central London, throughout the day during the march, there were numerous rowdy situations which we helped to pacify. I then noticed further raucousness on a particular stairwell leading to a station, a man was on the ground surrounded by youths. I quickly asked my associates to gather round the man and to pull him away from the unruly crowd. We collectively managed to pull him out, lifted him up to safety and handed him over to the police. The moment was captured on camera and as they say the rest is history.
