My name is Pierre Noah and I am one of the five men who rescued an individual during the Black Lives Matter march on the
13 June 2020 in central London.
After the video footage of George Floyd's death went viral on social media, the peaceful demonstrations planned in London to show solidarity changed over the course of the week and became increasingly violent once right-wing extremists announced that they were also going to attend the march in central London. Watching this on television at home prompted me to call my associates to support me under the umbrella of my security company ARK Protection Limited and to work in conjunction with the police to ensure safety for our young men and women who were attending the march peacefully.
ACC was established in December 2020 following our intervention and my appeal to former Prime Minister Boris Johnson for support to rebuild broken communities. Samuel Kasumu who served as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister was instrumental in supporting and facilitating the establishing of ACC.
